Harmony is a project whose first step is a deep analysis of the concept itself and finding a form that could describe it. The task was much more difficult because in every culture there is some attempt to depict and label this concept. Through compromises and difficult decisions to find the most appropriate sign, I decided to follow the path of analyzing general philosophical notions and the obvious connection between harmony and the field of music. Hence the clear path was to analyze the connections of the concept with the music of the spheres, the cosmic order and the attempt to record the sound in the form of a wave. The created sign is my subjectively depicted version of the concept that we try to understand from always on. How is the order and functioning of the universe possible, as well as compatibility, mutual complementation or correct proportions
The next stage is the animation of the character along with the sound, which may additionally describe the sign
The last stage of the concept analysis is to create a project. I co-wrote Paulina Wojdyna for cooperation, which parallelly analyzed the concept of Anxiety. In this way, it was easier to develop a concept built on two poles. Together, we created an interactive installation.
This installation consisted of animated films that were activated by the controller that the camera became. When entering the room, the visitor calmed down with soothing sounds and stepped on the moss sometimes at the place where the concept of fear was located, activated animation showing fear and unpleasant sound, of course the innate reflex became fear and search for a mild state of harmony, order.
